Course aim: To help security staff reduce drug related harm in the night time economy.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand what is meant by harm reduction
- Understand what is meant by a drug and how they can be classified (and we will introduce you to a simple form of drug classification know as the Drugs Wheel)
- Be able to describe a range of drugs commonly taken in the night time economy, their perceived benefits and associated risks
- To identify a range of practical harm reduction measures that can be used to keep customers safe
